Privacy policy
This is a personal portfolio, not a company, so this policy is short on purpose.
Data controller
The data controller is Aleksy Dobrodziej, a private individual (I don't run a registered business). For anything related to data protection, you can reach me at aleksydobrodziej@gmail.com.
What gets collected
The contact form only asks for your name, email address, and message. Nothing else is tracked, stored, or logged when you use it.
How it's used
Submitting the form opens your own email client with a pre-filled message addressed to aleksydobrodziej@gmail.com. The message only reaches me once you send it yourself - nothing is transmitted to a server or third party in between.
Legal basis and purpose
I process the contact form data solely based on your voluntary consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the message, in order to reply to your inquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing aleksydobrodziej@gmail.com - this won't affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Retention period
The message you send through your own email client goes directly to my private inbox. I keep it for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, then delete it.
Recipients of data
This site is hosted on infrastructure provided by Vercel Inc. (USA), which technically handles the site's traffic - it's the only data processor involved. Since Vercel Inc. is based outside the European Economic Area, the data transfer relies on standard contractual clauses to ensure an adequate level of protection.
Traffic analytics
I use Vercel Web Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymous visit statistics (e.g. page view counts). It doesn't use cookies or store data that could identify an individual visitor.
No sharing, no spam
Your details are never sold, shared, or added to a mailing list. They're used only to reply to you.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (UODO) if you believe the processing violates GDPR. To exercise these rights, email aleksydobrodziej@gmail.com.
